05 — Capability

UAS & Counter-UAS Services and Consultancy.

End-to-end uncrewed-systems training across the pilot, sensor-operator and mission-commander pipeline — paired with counter-UAS doctrine, planning and capability advice for forces operating in contested airspace.

What we deliver

The specific offerings.

  • UAS pilot academic training and conversion. Ground School academic phase covering UAS systems, flight theory, airspace, regulations and operational planning; Basic Flying Phase to develop foundational flying skills through simulator and live missions.
  • UAS Mission Commanders’ Course. Leadership of UAS missions integrated with land-supported operations and the targeting cycle.
  • UAS Sensor Operations and ISR. Basic and advanced sensor employment in support of ISR missions — payload handling, EO/IR fundamentals, target detection, imagery interpretation, multi-sensor integration and mission-driven collection.
  • UAS Operators Tactical Employment. Land, maritime and urban tactical deployment — mission planning, dynamic tasking, threat-informed employment, and real-time ISR, targeting and force protection.
  • Counter-UAS consultancy. Doctrine review, capability assessment, planner education, and exercise support for partner forces facing the new threat picture.
How we do it

Methodology.

Practitioner-led, blending classroom academic phases with simulator and live operations. Integrated with the ISR-T and Targeting capability lines so UAS employment is taught inside its tactical and operational context — not as a standalone skill.

Pilot, sensor-operator and mission-commander pipelines are designed to compose. A partner force can stand up a full UAS academy, run a single conversion cohort, or commission a targeted counter-UAS doctrine review. Each engagement is shaped to the partner’s existing fleet, doctrine and threat picture.

Counter-UAS engagements draw on the lessons documented across recent European theatres — with planner education sessions, doctrine reviews, capability assessments, and supported exercises delivered as the partner requires.
